Supporting our community and those who call it home

Whatever you prefer to call it – philanthropy, giving back, paying it forward – it all comes down to making a difference in someone’s life, showing gratitude for what you have and sharing it with others. We’re passionate about contributing to our community and so we’ve supported many charitable causes and participated in many civic organizations for years.

We are proud members of:

Rotary Club of Champaign

Rotary Club of Champaign is part of a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves. For more than 110 years, Rotary’s people have used their passion, energy and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, they’re always working to better our world.

Executive Club of Champaign County

This is an organization dedicated to fostering the professional growth and development of career-oriented women in our region. The club has been around for over 40 years and has been committed to creating a supportive and enriching environment where its members can thrive, connect and make a meaningful impact in their professional lives. The organization’s goal is to build a firm foundation on its core values through their programs and initiatives.

We support:

United Way of Champaign County – Power of the Purse event

We’re annual sponsors of the United Way of Champaign County’s Power of the Purse event. This event helps build financial stability for women in our community and provides emergency supportive shelter and college scholarships from the proceeds raised. Since 2016, more than 300 families have transitioned out of homelessness and into permanent, safe housing in our community. In addition, the Power of the Purse scholarship fund provides assistance to women for job training, technical and vocational certification and associate degrees at Parkland College. United Way has awarded 1,117 scholarships to women attending Parkland College.

Eastern Illinois Foodbank

Eastern Illinois Foodbank is devoted to alleviating hunger and nourishing stronger communities. It’s the primary food source for food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters and other programs working to feed our neighbors facing hunger. The foodbank acquires millions of pounds of food and grocery product through purchase or donation and distributes it among their 160 different feeding programs. They currently serve 18 counties in Eastern Illinois and have helped over 1 million people, distributed over 7.8 million pounds of food and 1.1 million pounds of nutritious produce.

Crisis Nursery

Crisis Nursery provides emergency crisis care to children from birth to age six in Champaign County, as well as support to strengthen families. They create an “island of safety” to prevent child abuse and neglect by offering 24-hour emergency assistance, temporary childcare for children ages 0-6, as well as assistance with basic necessities for families in need. They’re open 24/7 to the entire community with no fees or income eligibility.

Stephens Family YMCA

We are a sponsor of the Stephens Family YMCA’s Annual Ladies Luau on the Links. This event helps raises funds to provide scholarships for families, kids and individuals in our community to make sure they have access to programs and services. Through proceeds raised, the Stephens Family YMCA distributes scholarships to over 900 families, individuals and kids annually.
