We are proud to have a history that goes back 50 years.  When Jack Geary founded his own financial firm in 1978, more than four decades ago, his vision was to provide exceptional financial counsel and client service to the families and institutions here in Mississippi. Three generations later, it’s a philosophy that endures to this day. And while the firm has grown in size and reputation, the same commitment and guiding principles remain – for the benefit of all who we serve.

  • Meadowbrook Wealth Advisors is formed.

  • Ryan Geary joins Raymond James.

  • Chris Correro named Sr. Vice President, Investments.

  • Logan Phillips Jr retires, Logan III takes over The Phillips Group.

  • Geary/Correro and Phillips Group join Raymond James through the merger of Morgan Keegan with Raymond James.

  • Logan Phillips III joins Morgan Keegan, forms the Phillips Group with Logan Phillips Jr.

  • Bill Geary becomes Executive Managing Director of Morgan Keegan.

  • Chris Correro joins Morgan Keegan from UBS and forms the Geary/Correro Wealth Management group of Raymond James.

  • Jacks Geary retires from Morgan Keegan.

  • Bill Geary obtains CFA designation.

  • Logan Phillips Jr. named Managing director and Branch Manager of Morgan Keegan.

  • Scharff & Jones merges with Morgan Keegan bringing Logan Phillips Jr to Morgan Keegan.

  • Bill Geary joins Morgan Keegan.

  • Geary & Patterson merges with Morgan Keegan bringing Jack Geary to Morgan Keegan as a Managing Director.

  • Jack Geary establishes Geary & Patterson, Inc and builds a small investment firm in Jackson, MS after an 18 year career with Paine Webber and Equitable Securities.

  • Logan Phillips Jr joins Scharff & Jones and joins Logan Phillips Sr who began his investment career in 1960 with Scharff & Jones.
