Connected to our community

What makes St. Simons Island such an idyllic place to live is not only its natural beauty, but the warm and wonderful families and individuals we have met along our journey – people we are proud to call our neighbors, congregation members and friends. Here is a highlight of two organizations that have given us the opportunity to connect with them.

Coastal Georgia Historical Society

The society aids in the administration, restoration and maintenance of the historic facilities and resources entrusted to its care. There is an array of activities and events year-round to engage people of all ages in discovering Coastal Georgia’s history while strengthening their connection to our region’s rich legacy. Kevin Lokey is committed to the important mission of this organization and is proud to have served as its president.

St. Simons Presbyterian Church

A beloved and revered institution of our community, St. Simons Presbyterian Church was founded in 1946 and has continued to boldly bear witness to the love of God in the Golden Isles and throughout the world. The church is actively engaged in a variety of mission opportunities here and across the globe. As an elder of St. Simons Presbyterian Church, Kevin Lokey enjoys the opportunity to offer his servant leadership to the congregation and his experience of spiritual growth.

St. Simons Island is about the same size as New York City’s Manhattan Island.
