LaMar Financial Services held a Good News Seminar late this summer. The event was so popular we filled up 4 sessions and had to add a 5thsession. Throughout August and September around 100 people attended 1 of our 5 sessions listening to author Joel Kurtzman’s opinion on our nation’s future economy. A video of one of Kurtzman's famous speeches was shown and then discussed by the attendees with favoring or differing opinions. Unleashing the Second American Century is “An optimistic, fact-based look at how four transformational forces—unrivaled manufacturing depth, soaring levels of creativity, massive new energy sources, gigantic amounts of capital available—will propel the U.S. to new economic heights,” quoted from Kurtzman’s blog:

HOLIDAY PARTIES
LaMar Financial Services annually hosts two holiday parties for local clients. Every year on Valentine’s Day we organize a Ladies’ Valentine’s Day Dessert Social. This social is held at the Terra Cotta Café with catering by Billy Lee. Also, during the Christmas season we hold a Christmas Open House. The party is catered by Ursula’s Catering with heavy hors d’oeuvres, festive desserts, and Andy’s famous ham.
