We’re grateful for the continual support of our clients and neighbors who have helped us achieve success. It’s our honor and privilege to return the favor as active members of our community. Here are some of the initiatives that are most important to us.
On December 22nd we once again went to Community Food Share to help repackage apples and cereal. This food will go to a number of families in need in Boulder and Broomfield County.
In attendance, in addition to Jamie, Kip and Dawn, Jamie also recruited the help of his wife, daughters and mother-in-law. It was truly a family effort.
We spent the morning of August 24 2016 in the Community Food Share warehouse unpacking, sorting, discarding spoiled food and repacking donated food items in preparation for distribution. This volunteer opportunity gave our Raymond James team a chance to see how great the need is for addressing hunger in our own community.
We were all impressed with the size, efficiency and impact Community Food Share is having in the fight to end hunger. We also recognize that Community Food Share needs lots of volunteers to help the agency fulfill its mission and our team has made a commitment to continue to give our time to this worthwhile organization.
Jamie recently meet with a local Girl Scout troop. They've sold the cookies and earned their troop some money, now what? Jamie took a look at their sales, their budget and then gave them ideas on how to manage their money.
Jamie was asked to participate in Denver's Channel 4 News, "Beating the Recession: Money Makeover" series. Jamie met with a family to discuss their financial difficulties and gave them ideas of ways to cut back.
