Caden's Car Show gives Mott Children's Hospital patients a day to enjoy!
Recently, I had the great privilege of joining fellow Raymond James Associates and community members in service, at the Mott Children's Hospital Caden's Car Show. This event created some truly special moments with patients and their families. The day was full of smiles, laughter, and terrific memories that I will always cherish.
Caden's Car show was initially started back in 2013 as an event to remember Caden Bowles, a young boy whose passion for cars burned at a level few can match. Caden was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome – a condition in which the left side of his heart failed to develop, leaving him essentially with only half a heart. After receiving a heart transplant at age 7, he then bravely fought off cancer that developed from the transplant. Unfortunately after several years cancer free his transplanted heart began to fail. On September 11th, 2013 he passed away.

This event was part of Raymond James Cares month. A firm-wide community service program designed to centralize and track new and existing community service efforts by advisors and associates, every August.
