Erik Lawser

Erik is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree. Erik began his career in business management and consulting working with manufacturing companies and non-profit associations. He is still passionate about working with non-profits today. Erik has served on the Board of Directors for the Autism Foundation of Georgia, Georgia Society of Association Executives, and the Professional Ambassadors Council of the First Tee of Atlanta.
In an effort to help individuals, families, and associations with their investments and financial well-being, Erik brought his accomplished business background and extensive analytical and technical skills to the IPMG team in 2014. As an Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM (AAMS®), Erik provides IPMG clients with comprehensive financial planning and asset management services. This includes retirement planning, children’s education planning, estate planning, trust services, developing investment strategies, and insurance services such as life insurance, long-term care insurance, annuities, and business insurance.
Erik is also extensively involved in portfolio management research and analysis. He conducts technical analysis and tracks price patterns and market trends using our proprietary “technical early warning system” (TEWS). Screening research, following recommended stocks, and reviewing specific company forecasts and results are also a part of Erik’s responsibilities.
Erik lives in Marietta, Georgia with his wife, Jamie, and three children Molly, Anna, and Will. Erik and his family are active members of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church.
