Guidance for the big picture and finer details
Your solid future built on the strength of our past
With a complex financial life, it’s even more vital to follow a structured plan for success. That’s why we’ve developed a trusted process to help uncover your wishes, wants and needs, and customize a comprehensive plan designed to help fulfill them. No detail is overlooked as we provide personal attention at every stage of our relationship.
-
Our first meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. You might expect that we need information on your assets and your risk tolerance, but what might surprise you is that we also want to know about your dreams and aspirations. By taking the time to understand what you want your money to do for you and your family, we will be able to provide you with more personal and powerful guidance.
-
Based on what we learn from you, we will make recommendations tailored to your situation. Depending on what you want, this might be a complete financial plan or simply a recommendation to change your asset allocation. You see, some people want us to manage their entire financial world – including retirement plans, college savings, and life and long-term care insurance – while others simply want us to manage their IRAs or brokerage accounts. As the client, you will determine our level of involvement.
-
Once we have agreed on how we’ll work together, our team will get busy completing the appropriate paperwork and putting your plan into action. This often involves reaching out to former employers about “old” 401(k)s, consolidating multiple IRAs, and coordinating with your other professional advisors such as attorneys and accountants. No matter the situation, rest assured, we will make it as easy as possible.
-
Staying in touch with you is vital. Through educational events and periodic emails or letters, we will keep you up to date on the market and the economy. Of course, you will receive regular account statements, but you can also access your account 24 hours a day via your computer or smartphone. We can also provide regular economic commentary from Raymond James experts.
-
This may be the most important step of all. Once we have implemented your plan, we will monitor and review it on a regular basis. Depending on your preference, we will conduct a quarterly or annual review of your plan either in person or over the phone.
As your life changes, or as you come closer to milestones like retirement, your plan will also need to change. We will work with you to make these changes and avoid making any decisions solely based on headlines or trends. One of the hallmarks of the most successful investors is to make rational, rather than emotional, decisions about investments. This is always foremost in our minds as we manage your investments and your financial plan.
There is no assurance that any investment strategy will be successful. Investing involves risk and investors may incur a profit or a loss. Asset allocation and diversification do not ensure a profit or protect against a loss. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
