Growing up in Central Florida, Ryan is a third-generation financial advisor. He joined Fischer Wealth Management in January of 2024, following in the footsteps of his grandfather Jim, and father Paul. Ryan was immersed in the family practice from a young age attending many of the holiday parties, BBQ cookouts and other social events where many of Fischer Wealth’s current clients watched him grow up. Ryan’s affinity for numbers, problem solving, and attention to details are a welcome fit.
Ryan graduated from Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs 17th in his class out of 725. He lettered in varsity baseball and was named team MVP his senior year. Ryan went on to play Big 10 baseball at Indiana University while attending The Kelley School of Business studying Finance. During the Covid-19 pandemic, baseball and in person learning came to a halt. With the strict Covid protocols and forced remote learning, he transferred to the University of Central Florida to finish up his finance degree and pursue his career.
Graduating from University of Central Florida with a degree in Finance in May of 2023, Ryan sat and passed the FINRA Series 7 Exam (General Securities Registered Representative) the following week. He was honored to be chosen for a mentorship under the wing of Scott Brown of Edgewater Family Wealth, who is a Raymond James Chairman’s Council* member in College Park, FL.
Ryan is an avid sportsman and outdoorsman. When not in the office you will find him on the water or at his grandfather’s farm in N Florida or their family farm in Western Kentucky. Whether on the tractor planting in the spring or harvesting in the combine in the fall, his love for the outdoors and farming is also deep rooted from his great grandfather, grandfather and father as a fourth-generation farmer.
Ryan holds FINRA’s Investment Advisor Representative (Series 66) and General Securities Registered Representative (Series 7) through Raymond James Financial Services in St. Petersburg, Florida.
