We’re grateful for the continual support of our clients and neighbors who have helped us achieve success. It’s our honor and privilege to return the favor as active members of our community. Here are some of the initiatives that are most important to us.
We implement a wide range of initiatives to ensure that the communities in which we live and work are pursuing excellence together, including:
Brian is the past President of the Board of Directors of Holiday Home Camp, a 26-acre facility located in Williams Bay, Wisconsin on the shores of Geneva Lake. The camp was established in 1887 by Chicago industrialists and remains one of the oldest accredited camps in the country. Throughout a typical summer, Holiday Home Camp provides age-appropriate programs that serve over 500 youth from economically disadvantaged communities. Education and applied learning in the areas of basic nutrition, health care, wellness, personal hygiene, care for personal belongings and shared community living are intentionally woven into the day-to-day experience. Cross-functional evidence-based programming leverages typical camp activities into learning opportunities. Bonfires, group games, aquatics, nature hikes, and crafts are infused with outcome-based exercises and challenges designed to develop life skills such as: responsibility, accountability, trust, communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, problem solving and goal setting. Year after year, as campers return, they have the opportunity to build on these life skills and increase their sense of self-esteem, self-confidence and self-reliance. Many choose to apply for the Leadership Training Program, a year-round, community-based program for teens that focuses on areas such as: advanced leadership skills, community service, environmental stewardship, goal setting, reflection, and life planning. Brian continues to be actively involved in helping Holiday Home Camp.
