Warwick Chamber of Commerce Presents A Free Online Seminar: “Understanding Your Social Security Benefits”
Social Security benefits are far from simple. On average Social Security accounts for about 42% of the retirement income taken by retirees today*—meaning more than half of their income will have to come from other sources. Most need help to understand their Social Security entitlements, in order to maximize them, as well as to decide on the most appropriate age to file for benefits and avoid irreversible mistakes. And it’s critical to include Social Security benefits in a retiree’s financial plan. Properly doing so, can be the difference between a successful retirement or outliving one’s assets. This Seminar will include important facts regarding Social Security benefits eligibility, disability benefits, spousal and survivorship benefits, and considerations for: spouses, divorcees, widows/widowers, and dependents. The presentation will also cover the impact of Social Security on recipients’ income taxes, as well as strategies to minimize taxes.
On Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 3:00 – 4:00PM, Lynch Wealth Strategies will present important aspects of Social Security benefits.
