In the Community
Giving thanks to those who give back
Back in 1962, Bob James founded Raymond James on the principle that putting others first – from our clients to our neighbors – was the right thing to do. His deep commitment to doing what’s right remains a core part of who we are as a company. We’re proud to continue his legacy by investing our time, money and talents into the communities we serve. It’s so much more than tradition; it’s our way of thanking those who’ve supported us from the start.
All around the country, you’ll see Raymond James associates giving back to their communities in countless ways, supporting the arts, United Way and Junior Achievement, as well as a host of educational, civic, social and philanthropic endeavors. We’re proud of the work they do, and we thank them for their boundless generosity.

TMF strives to unite and strengthen communities by training, developing, and highlighting the role models that lead them. We develop programs, training opportunities, and events designed to empower veterans and families of the fallen, and then inspire them to pass on their values to the next generation and the community at large.
About Travis:
1stLt Travis Manion, an alumnus of both the United States Naval Academy and LaSalle College High School, was a man of integrity, valor, and commitment. In 2007, during his second tour in Iraq, 1stLt Travis Manion (USMC) was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis’ legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, “If Not Me, Then Who...” Guided by this ethos, veterans and families of the fallen continue their service, develop strong relationships with their communities, and thrive in their post-military lives. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation.
