As Quarterback of Client Relationships I am mindful of the trust and responsibility placed with me when advising individuals, families, professionals and corporations . I work closely with my Asset Management Services team to evaluate and manage market risk and returns through the asset allocation process, utilizing forward- looking assumptions. I hire Investment Managers who manage client portfolios based on the excess risk-adjusted return ("alpha") generated relative to each clients appropriate portfolio benchmark and the level of additional risk ("active risk") taken on in pursuit of that alpha. I proactively review clients portfolios to help ensure that these managers are adding value, and risk is being controlled.
