Insurance Awareness Day

June 28th is Insurance Awareness Day.  Just a quick reminder to check your insurance coverages to make sure that they are up to date.  Many people do not check their coverage regularly to be sure they are properly covered.

Homeowner’s:

Beginner's Overview to Homeowner's Insurance
Does your Home Owners Insurance policy cover the actual value of your home?
When you last moved, did you update the insurance policy to reflect the differences in properties?
Have your finances changed to where you might want a higher deductible?
Have you acquired jewelry or antiques that might not be fully covered?
Should you increase your liability coverage, or add an umbrella policy to help protect your assets?

Having the coverage that is right for you and your family is important.  Just like getting routine physical exams from your doctor, reviewing your insurance policies should be done to make sure you are in the best (financial) shape you can be in.
