Attorney and Non-Practicing Attorney

An attorney is a person who attended law school obtained a Juris Doctor [JD] degree, passed a bar exam and holds a law license. The Non-Practicing Attorney has also passed a bar exam and holds a valid law license but chooses not practice law. Often, the Non-Practicing Attorney has a different profession. A Non-Practicing Attorney may at any time return to the practice law so long as their law license is in effect and not suspended.

LL.M (Legum Magister) - Tax

This is an advanced post-graduate degree and distinction available to those already holding a Juris Doctor [JD] degree, whether practicing or not. The LL.M. degree indicates the candidate has gained a specialized knowledge in a particular area of law as versus general knowledge of the body of law.

Master of Science in Finance (MSF)

A graduate degree designed to develop the analytical and quantitative skills necessary to compete in today’s financial markets, with a special focus on portfolio construction, valuation analyses, and wealth management.
