Hi, I'm Michael Lubin and I'm one of the partners at the Adler, Levy, Jee and Lubin Wealth Management team of Raymond James. This month is Raymond James Cares month, our company’s official month of giving. Our teammates participate in many ways to give back to our communities and to charitable organizations that we believe in helping. A charity that I will be giving to this month is the National Center for Learning Disabilities. Here’s why:

Today, there are over 430,000 American children in foster care. Together We Rise is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of America’s youth in foster care. Together We Rise, works with thousands of volunteers, social workers, CASA advocates, and other partners to transform the way children experience foster care.

When foster children move from home to home, they are usually given two trash bags to carry their belongings. Please help Together We Rise remove trash bags from the foster care system with their Sweet Cases decorated duffle bags complete with a teddy bear, hygiene kit, and blanket.

During the COVID-19 outbreak, Together We Rise developed Safer at Home Service Projects that can be done at home, directly help children in foster care, and are held to CDC standards to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
