John R. Lokar,

WMS Senior Vice President, Investments

John specializes in retirement planning and the management of wealth and investments.
He is committed to guiding his clients through their retirement years as smoothly as possible. He enjoys being around successful people and finds satisfaction in helping them make further achievements in their lives.

He co-founded the Lokar Rajewski Wealth Management Group in 2005 with Josh Rajewski after working together for 13 years, first at Prudential Securities and then at Wachovia Securities. John also previously worked at the financial firm E.F. Hutton. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and management from Albion College.

For the past thirteen years, John has been a member of the Raymond James President’s Club*, reserved for a group of Raymond James financial advisors who adhere to the highest standards of service for their clients and who display professional growth.

John is a partner of Cornerstone Schools in Detroit, an institution creating a model of excellence in urban education at its independent and charter schools.

He grew up in Livonia and currently resides in Novi with his wife, Iris. He has two children, Brandy and Riley, and has two grandchildren.
