Damien Bertucelli

Damien Bertucelli,

WMS®, CLTC® Financial Advisor

With more than two decades of industry experience, Damien develops comprehensive financial plans and sound investment strategies designed to manage clients’ wealth wisely and move them confidently toward their goals. Though he serves a variety of clients, he specializes in helping business owners and corporate executives with complex financial needs.

He joined Raymond James in 2001, drawn by its client-first philosophy. He has earned the Wealth Management Specialist® and Certification in Long-Term Care® designations, and is continually seeking out new insights that can improve the client experience. Damien graduated with honors from the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Science in finance with a minor in economics.

In his formative years, Damien developed his passion for helping people by watching his father, Frank, the chief shop steward for the Teamsters at New York’s JFK International Airport. Frank would often work with management and the Teamsters to peacefully resolve issues and work toward the common goal of taking care of passengers. Damien’s interest in the markets began when his grandfather purchased stock for him as a gift. During the week, Damien and his dad would check the price of the stock before Frank went to the office. In college, Damien’s economics professor further inspired him to pursue a degree and career in finance.

Damien is active in the community and has served as a board member, executive committee member, former chair and president of Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture and the Arts, where he has been a member since 2010. He has also served on the career and technical education committee of the Hillsborough Education Foundation, is a member of the Warehouse Arts District Association in St. Petersburg and a board member of the Henry B. Plant Museum in Tampa.

Tapping into his love of art and culture, Damien created the Art & Lobbies program at his branch, giving local artists the opportunity to showcase their work on the branch’s lobby walls. A new artist is selected every few months in an effort to promote local artwork.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Damien lives in St. Petersburg with his daughter, Haven, and his son, Daxton. In his free time, Damien enjoys swinging kettlebells, cycling on the Peloton, riding the Pinellas Trail with friends and clients, and has recently started taking piano lessons. He loves remodeling homes, gardening (especially growing bamboo), cooking, and hosting dinner parties for friends and family. Hiking national parks while working on his photography skills is fast becoming a new passion.

Damien’s children are both following in their father’s active footsteps. Haven is involved in jazz, tap and ballet classes, while Daxton enjoys playing soccer. Both have inherited Damien’s love of swimming.
