CHAD SPENCER
What is your favorite thing about your career?
Being able to advise and educate clients with their financial goals & objectives. Helping to solve their financial and life problems they are confronted with.
Why did you decide to get into finance?
At an early age I was a saver of money. Growing up as an only child, both parents worked long hours. I gained a strong work ethic early on. I also learned at an early age about buying and selling stocks. That fascination grew even more taking financial classes in college.
What did you want to be when you were young?
An Architect, because my dad built homes for a living. I thought it was something I wanted to do!
What's your favorite way to spend time with your family?
We live on a river, so we like to fish and take cruises on the boat. My son Blake is 9 years old, so sports are in the weekly schedule. Currently he is into baseball and flag football.
What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them?
My favorite hobby is Golf. My grandfather used to take me to Oldham County Country Club when I was in grade school, and he always let me drive the golf cart. Over the years I really grew to love the sport; it can be a challenge to yourself, as well as competitive with others. My next love would be fishing. The excitement and adrenaline rush when you land that monster fish - no better feeling!
What’s your favorite content genre? (Comedy, Action, Adventure, Romance, Horror, etc.)
I would say Comedy. Life is full of challenges and comedy is something you can always look to cure a tough time! A good laugh helps you live longer!

What is your favorite thing about your career?
One of my favorite parts about the financial services industry is the ability to help individuals reach their retirement goals and future estate goals. To have a conversation about future financial goals and then the ability to achieve them is very fulfilling to not only the client, but to our team as well.
Why did you decide to get into finance?
I pretty much grew up in the finance world. My mom was in the industry for 30 years and her older brother was also an advisor for 40 plus years. It was almost second nature for me to take up financial planning.
