Raymond James introduces Renee Baker as head of expanded Advisor Inclusion Networks

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James announced today that it is consolidating Advisor Inclusion Networks corporate leadership under Renee Baker, currently chief marketing officer at subsidiary Carillon Tower Advisers, effective Sept. 1, 2019.

Michelle Lynch, who previously led the Network for Women Advisors, has moved to Raymond James & Associates’ Eastern Division as sales manager.

In its new configuration, the Network for Women Advisors, Advisor Pride Network and Black Financial Advisors Network will all receive corporate support and leadership from Baker.

“We have experienced considerable growth and increasing interest in our Advisor Inclusion Networks. Centralizing leadership and resources supporting the networks will better leverage our progress to date and facilitate continuing to improve diversity and inclusiveness across the firm,” said Scott Curtis, president of the Private Client Group. “Renee’s familiarity with the firm’s culture and resources paired with her extensive industry and marketing experience ideally suits her for this important leadership role. I’m excited about continuing to enhance the inclusion networks with Renee’s leadership.”

Baker joined the Raymond James family in April 2017, taking responsibility for driving, leading and executing the Carillon Tower Advisers global marketing strategy for seven brands while leading a team of 40 marketing professionals across several departments.

She brings extensive experience in the financial services industry, working at firms including Aberdeen Standard Investments, OppenheimerFunds (now Invesco), J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Bank of New York.

Baker is active in the community as a board member for Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA) and as a trustee for American Stage. She’s also an adjunct instructor at the University of South Florida where she teaches advertising management.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Rutgers University, a Master of Business Administration degree from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Doctorate in Business Administration degree from Wilmington University. She also attended the Securities Industry Institute, hosted by SIFMA and Wharton, and has her Series 6, 63 and 26 licenses.
