MBA, CFP®, CPFA®
Financial Advisor, RJFS
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, Rob's interests and motivation led him to pursue a career in the financial service industry. He is driven to be constantly learning, assisting others in their pursuit of knowledge and understanding, and having the desire to contribute to the well-being of those around him.
Rob’s values in life were significantly impacted by his grandfather who raised him. His granddad’s most meaningful influences on Rob were his desire to do things right, and even more importantly, to do the right thing. He led by example, by combining a great work ethic as a physician, a love of learning (he read all the time), and a desire to help people in a meaningful and impactful way.
Rob brings these same values to his clients, his family, and his life. His time at ‘work’ is spent in one of three ways: talking with clients, conversing with portfolio managers, and reading everything he can about financial planning and advice. Each of these activities engages Rob in a continuous learning experience where he can share information and apply it when assisting others.
With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Rob prides himself in developing highly customized financial plans and strategies to ensure his clients accomplish what it is they desire to achieve. This is accomplished through a series of interviews and discussions where he learns the details of a client's situation and their wishes. With this as his focus, he applies his knowledge and expertise, with the latest financial planning software to create a workable strategy for the client. Through communication and education, he partners with his clients to secure a long-term meaningful relationship based on trust and these values.
Outside of the office, Rob is an avid supporter of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and if he’s not spending time with his wife, Michelle, or one of their three daughters, you’ll likely find him on a mountain bike, gravel bike, or road bike. If you do find Rob on one of these bikes, he probably won’t be going very fast, but he’ll be happy to see you and he’ll likely be having a great day!
