Jon grew up in Henderson, Texas and is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University. Jon and his wife Marcia live in Minden. They enjoy working on their farm as time allows, tending to their blueberry orchard, grapes, blackberries, and livestock along with hay production. Jon and Marcia enjoy visiting with family, friends, meeting new people and love to travel.

Jon began his career in the bookkeeping Department at a local bank. He made a move into the bank’s Trust Department and in 1989 he graduated from the National Graduate Trust School. Three years later the bank opened a brokerage business which Jon was elected to manage. In 2001, he moved his practice to Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., where he continues to serve as a Financial Advisor. Jon enjoys getting to know clients and working with them to meet their needs, whether financial, planning for the future or just to talk.
