ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James Investment Banking received industry honors during the virtual 14th annual M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards presented last month. The Raymond James Recapitalization & Restructuring team was recognized this year with two deal-of-the-year awards.

  • Out-of-Court Restructuring of the Year (Over $100MM) for the acquisition of Black Box Corporation by AGC Networks by Geoffrey Richards of the Recapitalization & Restructuring team and Dru Rushing of the Technology & Services Investment Banking team

“We are honored to once again be recognized as industry leaders by The M&A Advisor,” said Geoffrey Richards, head of Recapitalization & Restructuring. “Our team is driven to help our clients identify and implement vital solutions in any environment. Being recognized consistently by The M&A Advisor highlights Raymond James’ valuable experience in providing tailored advice to companies in financial distress.”

These awards add to the year-over-year recognition of the Raymond James Recapitalization & Restructuring group. The team has received two deal-of-the-year awards for three consecutive years. Moreover, in 2015 and 2016, the team was selected as Investment Banking Firm of the Year by The M&A Advisor.

“This recognition by The M&A Advisor is a testament to our ongoing commitment to a client-first approach,” said Jim Bunn, president of Global Equities & Investment Banking at Raymond James. “In an ever-changing environment, it’s gratifying to have the experts of our industry acknowledge our work through these awards.”
