Throughout his more than 27 years in the wealth management industry, Steven has honed expertise in complex trust and estate planning concepts and strategies. Specifically, he spent the first 14 years of his financial career as a trust officer and wealth strategist.

Steven applies his knowledge of investment management, complex insurance strategies, strategic wealth transfer planning, as well as tax-efficient estate and charitable planning for his clients. His dedication and fortitude were formed while serving in the U.S. Army’s elite 82nd Airborne Division. He is proud to be a combat veteran and to have served his country. Steven is actively involved in the nonprofit community and has served as a member of the Professional Advisory Council for the Utah Community Foundation. He is active with Project Healing Waters, a fly fishing nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans in recovery, and is a former board member of Wounded Warriors Impacting Neighbors.

Steven became a financial advisor in 1994 with Fidelity Investments, Zions Investments and Key Private Bank Trust before joining Merrill Lynch in 1999. After 22 years at Merrill Lynch, Steven obtained the titles of senior vice president, wealth management advisor and portfolio manager. In 2021, he joined Raymond James along with Williams & Townsend Wealth Management Partners team.

Steven is originally from Midvale, Utah, but spent 14 years in Denver, Colorado, where his children say they are from. Steven and his wife, Patricia, live in Kamas, Utah, and have three grown children: Jessica, Lindsay and Jacob. In his free time, Steven enjoys family time, fly fishing, golfing, Harley rides and anything outdoors.
