Steve builds a strong understanding of each client, creating holistic financial plans that are designed to reflect what brings meaning to their lives. He uses his nine years of industry experience to help high-net-worth families and professionals manage and preserve wealth.

His approach to wealth management includes tax mitigation strategies and estate planning integration, helping clients pursue their financial goals. He is actively involved in all four cornerstones of a client’s wealth, including investments, liability management, risk management and trust and estate planning.

Steve joined Raymond James in 2019, drawn by its client-first values. Before that, he spent nine years at Wells Fargo as a financial advisor. He also serves as a Utah Army National Guard officer and is a former active duty Army officer (Airborne and Ranger qualified). He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Utah.

Originally from Utah, he has lived in Washington state, Maryland, Ohio, Oklahoma, Georgia, Kansas and spent time in Kuwait and Iraq. He currently lives in Millcreek, Utah, with his wife, Jenna; they have two children, William and Oliver. When he’s away from the office, he spends time with his family, travels, volunteers for community organizations, and goes backpacking and camping. He also enjoys barbecue and watching University of Utah football games.
