David Halsch

Senior Vice President, Investments

Since 1981, David Halsch has been fulfilling his call of duty to assist friends, family and acquaintances in achieving the financial success they desire. His philosophy on saving, spending, investing and risk-taking helps clients reach their financial goals so they can focus on the more important things in life. David earns trust and confidence by listening, focusing on client needs, being available and most importantly caring. He really appreciates his clients and nourishes the intergenerational relationships and bonds formed through years of generational estate planning.

David began his career in financial services spending over 21 years at Merrill Lynch, as a Senior Vice President-Investments. Upon leaving Merrill Lynch, David brought his practice to both UBS and Wells Fargo Advisors, before finding his home at Raymond James & Associates in June 2018.

Raymond James & Associates attracted David to the firm because of its commitment to the highest ethical standards, integrity and an independent culture that allows him the ability to choose what is best for his clients. Raymond James has extensive resources, is extremely well capitalized, and was the first brokerage firm to commit to a “Client Bill of Rights”.

Today, David lives in Park City, Utah with his love Jenny. He has two sons, two granddaughters and one grandson on the way. Growing up on a family farm in Iowa with eight siblings, David credits his discipline and work ethic to the example set by his hard working parents.

When David is away from the office, he enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking, repelling, photography and the beautiful outdoors. David considers himself a true outdoorsmen. He recently hiked Rim to Rim at the Grand Canyon in a day, climbed Mount Timpanogos and summited a 14,000 foot mountain in Colorado all in 2017 alone! A strong love of animals bonds David’s family and has encouraged him to show dogs at the Eukanuba Show in Long Beach, Arabian Horses at the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show and cutting horses at the Western Nationals. David and Jenny are supporters of Paws for Life in Utah.
