Finances touch nearly every part of our lives, so in her role as a financial planner, Kerry Mellott works to tailor her clients’ finances to specifically suit their goals, needs and visions for the future. This means looking at financial planning beyond investing, and taking into account an individual’s risks, circumstances and responsibilities. She also works as an educator, so that her clients, spouses and families can feel confident in their finances.
Hers is highly detailed work, requiring the coordination of many financial disciplines. She believes she can only achieve this in an open, trustful partnership with her clients. Her approach is marked with warmth and compassion. She is particularly skillful in working with her clients on emotionally complex topics like long-term care, divorce and the loss of a spouse.
Kerry started her career with Mendham Capital Management in 2007. She has passed the Series 7 and Series 66 exams and has earned the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor™ and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® professional designations.
As a through-and-through Jersey girl, Kerry is deeply committed to her community. In addition to volunteering at her children’s schools, she is an active member of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce, supporting its charity events. She also supports the Center for Great Expectations.
Kerry is a proud mother to her adult children, Jenna and Michael, as well as her younger son, Gavin. She also delights in being a grandmother to her grandchild, Leo.
