Raymond James Financial names Shannon Reid Independent Contractor Division president, Jodi Perry to become national head of advisor recruiting

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James today announced executive management changes in the firm’s Private Client Group division.

Effective January 1, Raymond James Financial Services Independent Contractor Division (ICD) President Jodi Perry has elected to leave her post for the newly created role of national head of advisor recruiting.

“Jodi has generated outstanding results in every role she has held in her nearly 30-year career at Raymond James – including considerable time as a top recruiter and during her more than five years leading ICD,” said Raymond James Chair and CEO Paul Reilly. “I’m confident she will continue to strengthen this key growth engine for the firm.”

Reflecting the firm’s longstanding commitment to strategic succession planning, current Senior Vice President and Northeast Division Director Shannon Reid will succeed Jodi as ICD president and join the firm’s Executive Committee.

“Shannon has an impressive background and has been a stellar leader in an important market for ICD,” Private Client Group President Scott Curtis added. “I’m confident she will continue to grow the business on the trajectory Jodi set during her tenure.”

Prior to her current role, Shannon served in a variety of senior leadership roles at Raymond James including head of Retirement Solutions, vice president of Cash Management and vice president of PCG Planning. She joined the firm from Goldman Sachs and is currently on the Raymond James Operating Committee.
