Do you have any plans for September? We are bringing back our annual women’s event this year! We will have a special guest sharing what is called: The Family Love Letter. Save the date for Wednesday, September 20, 2023. I am looking forward to seeing you and your friends.

Let me introduce, The Family Love Letter. Now, I’m not going to give away the entire presentation in September, because I’d rather see you in person. However, let me share a few thoughts for you to consider as a bit of a teaser or preview of what to expect in September.

I’m not sure what your filing system looks like but I think mine is pretty organized. It is very organized in my mind, the one place no one can access but me. In addition, I have a filing cabinet that holds important documents we need to get to regularly, and a nice size fireproof safe that holds all the really important stuff someone needs to access when one, or both of us pass away. (That is myself and/or my husband Roger, for clarification).

The problem with the fireproof safe is that to the layperson, everything inside looks like a mumbo-jumbo mess of papers that may or may not mean anything. In fact, to decipher these papers, you need to refer to the organizational papers tucked away in my brain. Not helpful if I’m no longer here to help, if you know what I mean.

For me, The Family Love Letter combines the finely organized inner workings of my mind, with the safely structured files of our filing cabinet, with the mumbo-jumbo mix of papers in our fireproof safe. It makes things easy for my heirs to understand, follow and carry through the next steps. It will help to put everything in one spot for you and easy to understand for others. Sound intriguing?
