I’m excited to share that we have a new grandson! Anthony was born at the end of October, just a few days before Halloween. He is pretty cute, but just does a lot of eating and sleeping right now. I like having things in my life to share. Many of my post ideas come from things going on personally that I think could be relevant to you. Sometimes when I struggle to think of a topic to write about, it occurs to me that nothing big is happening in my life. That’s probably a good thing. Chugging along as life should, feels good and easy. When thing happen, it can cause uncertainty, anxiety, concern and discomfort.

As it goes, we want to hear about what is going on in your life too. What changes have occurred? What are you considering? For example, are you planning on getting married, buying a house or retiring? Did you just lose a loved one or are you getting a divorce? There are so many life changes that happen that have an impact on your finances.

Believe it or not, we are not just a bunch of nosey Rosie’s. We really do need and want to know what is going on in your life. We care too! Life changes can often affect your goals and time horizon for the investments we are managing and thus, changes could result. However, if we don’t know what is going on with you, we can’t make the best recommendations for your situation. I’m sure sometimes it might feel like we are just asking a bunch of questions, but those questions help us to best understand your situation. Everyone is different and your answers help us to tailor our answers to you.

At the start of each annual meeting, we will ask you what questions you have. This is so we know what is going on in your life. In between meetings, however, don’t hesitate to reach out. That’s what we are here for. We aren’t mind readers, but we are planners. Knowing what you need helps us plan best.
