Iglar Asset Management's Heartwarming Volunteering Experience with Samaritan's Purse

On December 16th, 2024, the Iglar Asset Management team had the privilege of participating in a heartwarming volunteering event with Samaritan's Purse, a nondenominational Christian organization dedicated to providing spiritual and physical aid to those in need around the world. This incredible organization supports victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, diseases, and famine, all with the purpose of sharing God's love.

One of Samaritan's Purse's most impactful seasonal projects is Operation Christmas Child. This initiative aims to demonstrate God's love to children worldwide by packing shoeboxes full of quality gifts. These shoeboxes are then tracked by their packers to discover the country where they are delivered, ensuring a personal touch in the process.

Our team volunteered at a bustling processing center, surrounded by hundreds of dedicated volunteers. Together, we packed shoeboxes and prepared them for shipment to children in need across the globe. It was truly inspiring to see how these shoeboxes were filled with thoughtful gifts designed for boys and girls of all ages. The boxes included toys, school supplies, hygiene products, and heartfelt letters from the packers. For many of these children, these shoeboxes represent their first-ever gifts, and they carry the message of Jesus Christ's love.

Our specific responsibilities included checking the boxes for any dangerous or misplaced items, sealing them, and ensuring they were packed correctly for their journey to the proper country. Each year, millions of shoeboxes are collected from around the world, and volunteers like us play a crucial role in bringing joy and love to children everywhere.

Being part of such a large and impactful mission was an honor for the Iglar Asset Management team. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a cause that builds love and community around the world. This experience has left a lasting impression on all of us, and we look forward to continuing our support for Samaritan's Purse and their incredible work.
