Hendel Wealth Management Group Delivers Essential Clothing to Residents of the East End Suffering From Homelessness
[Smithtown/Greenport, NY] – Hendel Wealth Management Group recently delivered a truck full of essential clothing donations including hundreds of pairs of socks, winters hats, gloves and undergarments to John’s Place Emergency Homeless Shelter in Greenport. John’s Place offers a safe, warm, dry place to sleep and provides all guests the opportunity to take hot showers, receive nourishing meals, medical assistance, and much needed warm winter clothing.
“There are thousands of people across Long Island suffering from homelessness and our winters are certainly beyond challenging to withstand for anyone without a safe shelter,” said Jeffrey Hendel, President & CEO, Hendel Wealth Management Group and Sr. Financial Advisor, Raymond James Financial Services. “By donating clothing to Johns Place, we’re hoping to make the families relying on their services more comfortable for a few of those very cold weeks.”
