Scott Lewis

Welcoming Scott Lewis to the Hickok & Boardman Capital Management Team

We’re excited to introduce the newest member of our Client Service Team: Scott Lewis. With a deep-rooted passion for history, a commitment to precision, and a welcoming, client-first approach, Scott brings a well-rounded and kind presence to Hickok & Boardman Capital Management.

Raised on the Main Line in the Philadelphia Suburbs, Scott grew up in the shadows of America’s founding and George Washington’s encampment at Valley Forge National Park. He developed a passion for history and the contexts that surrounded critical events of the past. That lifelong interest in understanding the full context of a moment carries over into his professional life, where he’s always looking at the broader picture when it comes to solving problems and supporting clients.

Scott’s professional background includes time at The Vanguard Group, where he held several roles focused on transaction processing, reconciliation and client service. His work there was driven by a keen attention to detail and a desire to improve systems and processes. One of his fondest memories was having lunch with Vanguard’s founder, Jack Bogle.

A proud Eagle Scout, Scott learned early on the value of preparation, focus, and perseverance—skills he brings to every aspect of his work. He even summited Mount Whitney at age 16, an experience that solidified his appreciation for planning and grit.

Scott moved to Vermont with his wife, Jamie, to raise their family in a place they love. Jamie is the Senior Director of Nursing at the Howard Center, and their son Quinn is in the fourth grade at BFA-Fairfax. You can often find the Lewis’ at Quinn’s Little League games, enjoying hikes in the mountains or skiing in the winter.

The Lewis’ also enjoy watching the Phillies play our national past time. If you are visiting Philadelphia, Scott recommends skipping the well-known steak shops and instead going to Sonny’s Famous Steaks (Scott recommends a cheesesteak with American Cheese and Onions). If you’re looking for a taste of Philly in Vermont, check out Bessery’s Butcher Shop in Burlington’s New North End—they even fly in Amoroso rolls!

Please join us in giving Scott a warm welcome. Whether he’s assisting with paperwork or answering questions, we’re thrilled to have him on board!
