Scott joined Raymond James Financial Services in 2000 and is the Branch Manager. He is a 1970 graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration. He started at Quarterback for Coach Paul ‘Bear’ Bryant for three years…taking Alabama to three Bowl games. He played Quarterback in the NFL for the Green Bay Packers…leading them to the playoffs in his second season…and several other teams and retiring in 1980. Before his career with Raymond James he was a sports anchor/reporter for the Mobile, AL CBS affiliate and was a ‘Color’ commentator for CBS College Football. He is a member of the Board of Visitors of the University of Alabama Business School and Board of Directors of the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. He is a past Board member and President of the NFL Retired Players Association. He and his wife Deborah…a former ‘Bama cheerleader… attend Dauphin Way United Methodist Church in Mobile, AL.
He enjoys flying…a commercial instrument rated pilot with 4000 hours…fitness training, reading histories and most of all playing with his grandchildren.
