Get Ready for the California Long Term Care Insurance Program

Many Californians are worried about the costs of long term care, and lawmakers are concerned as well. In response to the increasing pressure of rising costs, California passed AB 567, establishing the Long Term Care Insurance Task Force to explore the feasibility of implementing a statewide insurance program for “long term care services & supports”. AB 567 proposes to tax the income of California residents to fund a public long-term care insurance program.

That’s why I’d like to invite you to an informative seminar about Long Term Care and California AB 567. This event is designed to shed some light on details of the bill, including what it means for Californians and how it may impact your retirement and estate planning. This educational event is most useful for California adults aged 18 to 60, who expect to work in the state of California for at least ten years.

We’ll cover:

  • Long Term Care: What is it, and how much does it cost
  • AB 567: What is it, and what are possible outcomes
  • Long Term Care Insurance: understanding private LTC insurance
  • Next Steps: how to plan for long term care and AB 567
