Raymond James & Associates reorganizes divisions, reveals divisional leadership assignments

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James today announced a regional reorganization of Raymond James & Associates Private Client Group (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – and the resulting divisional leadership assignments, effective Oct. 1.

“I’m pleased to share several exciting organizational updates commensurate with executing our long-term succession plans,” said Tom Walrond, who will become RJA PCG president on the same date. “I’m confident the changes will optimize support for advisors and their teams, and better position RJA for long-term growth.”

Current Eastern Division Regional Director Kelly Anderson will lead the Northeast Division as division director, maintaining her current area of responsibility. Eastern Division Regional Director Tim Killgoar will become division director for the Southeast Division.

In addition, Central Division Director Patrick O’Connor will be promoted to RJA chief operating officer (COO), focusing on recruiting, organic growth and enhancing the advisor experience. Central Division Regional Director Mike O’Meara will succeed O’Connor as Central Division director.

Bert White remains at the helm in the Western Division.

Also part of this update, RJA PCG COO-Strategic Initiatives Michael Tormey will join PCG COO Kim Jenson’s team as managing director, PCG Strategic Initiatives, expanding the scope of his work to all of our wealth management businesses.

“Consistent with the firm’s broader succession announcement in May, we were fortunate to promote the next generation of leaders for RJA from within, ensuring commitment to our values and culture, and maintaining a consistent experience for advisors and branch associates,” Walrond said. “I’m confident each of these leaders will continue to inspire and lead successful teams in their new roles.”
