12 Financial Resolutions for 2021
Now is the time when many start planning their new year’s resolutions. I know like many of you, we at Carson Advisory are ready to put 2020 behind us. Luckily, I was raised to look for the positives in every situation because, no matter what, they are always there. They may be difficult to see at times and don’t seem to even be there; but if we are able to calm our minds, we will see them.
For me, I am thankful for a shortened soccer season. While my two girls may have missed out on a season, I appreciated the slower paced Saturday mornings where I could make full breakfast for my family, complete with a big bowl of cheese grits for my youngest, to sit and enjoy. We could cook dinner during the week after working from home, because we didn’t have to run from the office, to home, to the soccer fields. So, while we reflect on 2020 and how it has been a trying year for many reasons, I encourage us all to look at the blessings we’ve had, while we look to better days ahead.
For many of us, our priorities have changed due to the pandemic as well. Our health. Spending time with Family. Traveling. Sporting Events. Concerts. Celebrations. Many of the things we took for granted all the years before, changed in an instant.
So, with this new set of priorities, and the new year starting, it’s a great time to look at our lives and make some resolutions for moving into 2021. With that in mind, here’s a list of 12 Financial Resolutions for 2021.
