Wow! What an election year this is turning out to be! An assassination attempt on the Republican candidate and the sitting president and Democratic candidate dropping out of the race has certainly sparked a lot of discussion and speculation about the upcoming election.
No doubt that there will be endless news stories, opinions, and commentaries in the days and weeks and months to come. And certainly, we all have our favorite experts to listen to and our favorite channels to watch.
Keeping all of that in mind, our Raymond James Washington policy analyst, Ed Mills, and his team have put together a comprehensive report entitled 2024 Election: Consumer Outlook. I thought it would be beneficial to share this with you (see link below). Keep in mind that this is a very lengthy and detailed report. As you can see by the election overview, there is more at stake than just the presidential election – the House and the Senate are clearly important components as well.
