Econ Thinks You’re Dumb. Here’s Why They’re Wrong
02.09.2024
This week Drew sits down with Gerd Gigerenzer, an esteemed psychologist who has consulted the Bank of England and has worked with the Max Planck Institute for Human Development and other respected institutions for many years. In addition to speaking engagements including a TED talk, Gerd is a published author. The Intelligence of Intuition is his most recent book. In this interview Drew and Gerd discuss the ubiquitous theory of behavioral economics, as written about in Daniel Khaneman’s Thinking Fast and Slow. They work to balance the dialogue and present a counter view that attempts to contextualize and nuance the theory to provide a more profound understanding of human nature in the world of economics.
