Stakeholder Capitalism puts the Client Last

Over the last few years, Corporate America has been consumed by the idea of Stakeholder Capitalism which places an emphasis on stakeholders such as customers, employers, diversity initiatives or even the environment through causes such as DEI and ESG. It has also been pitched as more virtuous and noble compared to Shareholder Capitalism which puts the interests of the shareholders first. But does Stakeholder Capitalism actually achieve its grand claims? Drew doesn't think so, and he lays out a series of thoughtful critiques.
