Raymond James welcomes $100 million financial advisor in Sulphur Springs, Texas

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed financial advisor Craig Johnson, CFP®, AAMS® to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – in Sulphur Springs, Texas, according to Kirk Bell, Central division director for RJFS.

Johnson is joined at his practice, Rising Wealth Management, by senior client service manager Deanna Hines. Together they provide personalized wealth management services to business owners, corporate executives, pre-retirees and others who aspire to a work-optional lifestyle. Previously, Johnson was affiliated with Edward Jones where he managed approximately $100 million in client assets.

After beginning his career in investment banking, Johnson used his experience to purchase and run an advertising company which he sold in 2021. In 2010, he started providing financial planning to individual investors at Edwards Jones where he worked until this recent transition. Johnson is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional and an Accredited Asset Management SpecialistTM. A Hopkins County native, he also earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration from Texas Christian University and University of North Texas, respectively.
