He can advise you on portfolio construction, asset allocation and risk adjusted return strategies designed to help you maximize your investment success. His expertise combines individual and trust investment management with a strong academic and quantitative training in finance. Mike earned a Bachelors of Science with a major concentration in Finance, is a Securities Principal (series 24), General Securities Representative (series 7), Uniform Securities Law Agent (series 63), and Uniform Investment Advisor (series 65).
The Experience of a Financial Planner
As a Financial Planner, Mike works in fee for service relationships advising in all areas of Financial Planning and can assist you in creating a comprehensive financial plan. His multidisciplinary approach looks to tailor a custom plan for your individual needs.
Prior to his appointment as Branch Manager in Lexington Massachusetts, Mike was a Financial Planner, Tax Planner, and Tax Research Associate for William L. Haas, one of the premier Tax Attorneys1 and Financial Planners in the nation. Mike was honored in 2006 when selected by William L. Haas as his successor.
Prior to joining Mr. Haas, Mike advised in areas of insurance, debt financing, and fringe benefit selection for individuals and small business through Aon and Citigroup subsidiaries. Mike is a member of the Financial Planning Association, Massachusetts Society of CPA's and National Association of Tax Professionals.
The Heart of a Community Leader:
Mike has served as an Officer and Director of numerous non-profit agencies throughout New England. Today, Mike serves as a NASA Night Sky Network outreach educator. Over the past decade, he has hosted dozens of outreach astronomy events, taught astronomy classes, and authored newspaper columns on space and technology throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
In March of 2008, Mike received and accepted a personal invitation from the Secretary of the Air Force to present at the 55th Annual National Security Forum (NSF). He continues to be an active alumni fellow.
