Allyn L. Donaubauer,
CFP®, CRPC® Senior Vice President, Investments Managing DirectorAllyn is the founder of The Donaubauer Group and has worked in this industry over five decades. In addition, he and has been a member of the Chairman’s Council of Raymond James and Associates since 2015. He is passionate about helping his clients simplify the financial complexities in their lives while working toward meeting their objectives through goals-based wealth management. He takes great pride in serving as a counselor and advocate to his clients, and deeply cares about their financial well-being.
As a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, Allyn has in-depth knowledge of the needs individuals face both before and after retirement. He engages in retirement planning for a variety of important issues, such as sources of retirement income, employer-sponsored retirement plans, tax planning, retirement cash flow, asset management, estate planning and more.
He is also a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, dedicated to helping his clients work toward their financial goals by guiding them through a comprehensive investment planning process. He is committed to helping clients identify and pursue their goals at every stage of their lives – from planning for children’s needs to attaining adequate healthcare during retirement to leaving a legacy.
Before joining Raymond James, Allyn served as Wealth Management Advisor and First Vice President of Investments at Merrill Lynch for 34 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
Allyn is active in community organizations and passionate about serving his community, which is confirmed by the many awards and recognition plaques that adorn his office. He serves as board president of the We Care Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of children with cancer and related blood diseases. He is a board member of the University of Ozark, the Children’s Emergency Shelter Foundation, and Trinity Junior High.
Allyn was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His father moved the family to Arkansas in 1968 to become vice–president – director of development for the University of Arkansas, building fundraising relationships with people who shared his passion for higher education. Today, Allyn lives in Fort Smith with his wife and business partner, Janice, and has two grown children, Blake and Natalie along with grandchildren, Blue and Eleanor.
