Richard K. Riess Executive Vice President of Asset Management, CEO Eagle Asset Management Raymond James Financial

In addition to his position as CEO of Eagle Asset Management, Inc., a subsidiary of Raymond James Financial, Inc. (NYSE-RJF), Richard Riess also serves as executive vice president of the Asset Management Group of Raymond James Financial.

Mr. Riess joined Raymond James Financial in 1983 as chief financial officer. He organized the Heritage Family of Funds in 1985 and has served as a board member with Heritage since its inception. Heritage later became Eagle Family of Funds under Eagle Asset Management.

In 1988, he became chief operating officer of Eagle Asset Management. Mr. Riess was elected president in 1995 and became chief executive officer in 1996.

Richard earned his MBA degree with distinction from Harvard University in 1975.
