Kara Thorn,

Kara enjoys working with women and families, retirees and business owners. She has a true passion for helping her clients design and implement a wealth blueprint. She strives to form deep and valued client relationships which are critical in understanding their specific goals and aspirations. By having her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. she is uniquely qualified to partner with her clients in developing financial strategies for each stage of their life. Prior to joining Raymond James, Kara worked at Merrill Lynch for 12 years as a Wealth Management Advisor. She graduated from Stetson University in 2006 Magna Cum Laude where she received her Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing. She was a four-year letterman and captain of the Women’s Soccer team. Kara also enjoys tennis and running and is very involved in their Church, Next Level Church. Kara is married to her husband Johnny Thorn and they have 2 children, Caleb and Lilly. Kara and Johnny reside in Fort Myers, FL.
